let me delete links I don't care about
let me delete links that I don't care about. You could probably use some form of machine learning to start filtering out news stories that I don't want to see after I have deleted a few links

I'd love to have keyword filtering as part of this...If I never have to see another "Vote up if you agree with my idiot position" story again, I'd be just as happy.
