let me delete links that I don't care about. You could probably use some form of machine learning to start filtering out news stories that I don't want to see after I have deleted a few links

Why not?

So that I can vote for the news article from oursignal.com itself, without having to open it in Digg or Reddit. Also oursignal.com can remember/figure out which articles I voted and may be show an icon on those articles indicating my vote.

Allow a user to choose how many links to display on the page.

Simply put other than just hiding links I've been to sometimes I don't wanna visit a link but I don't want to see it either.

I mean, I can read less than 40 links (sounds like a lot but I'd like more)

I like the new design, and the new info-bar at the bottom of the page, but it takes *FAR* too long to update when moving the mouse around the page. I see you use HoverIntent instead of Hover; maybe that could be made an option, or an option to drastically reduce the "intent" time?

Add a 24-72 hour snapshots so people can go back and see what they may have missed. If you want to really carry this out add a couple from shots from each day of the last week. Just something so people can see stories that may have come and gone by the time they get back to oursignal.com.

I really like the re-design, but i would give more space for the news, if you have a small screen the two bars on bottom and on top are taking way too much space!

it becomes very difficult to see which text belongs to which rectangle

makes my browser hang for several seconds. really eats up a lot of resources, which is a shame because i like to keep it open in a background tab for occasional reading.
